I'm usually the only person here during the week, so there is not always someone here. We do have covered outdoor runs on the larger kennels, and an outdoor play area that all dogs staying here get to go out and enjoy several times a day weather permitting.
Indoor/outdoor kennels allow the active dogs enough room to stretch out and move about without being cramped. There are 2 sizes a large and an extra large that can easily have more than 1 large dog housed in the same run with plenty of room. All indoor quiet kennel spaces are also available for the older dogs or ones that don't like all the noise.
We do have limited evening and weekend pickup/drop off times.
An outdoor play area lets dogs get out and stretch out where they can interact with other dogs or just get out and run.
I have been grooming dogs for over 35 years. December 2019 we opened for grooming and boarding. I have been around dogs my entire life, in the past I have worked as a vet tech, as a kid my parents had a kennel and also worked at Country Kennels in Audubon out of high school.
I spend alot of time around the dogs that stay here, with the grooming business I am steps away most of the day and we live right here so we're never far away. Our grandkids are frequently seen around here interacting with the dogs.
We do our best to make sure dogs are not scared to be here, we know that dogs are family.

We are going to be closed for boarding and grooming November 7-18th. Iowa Epoxy Flooring is going to be redoing all of our floors, so we need time to take down all the kennels and set them back up once finished. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it will be fantastic once finished!
