I'm usually the only person here during the week, so there is not always someone here. We do have covered outdoor runs on the larger kennels, and an outdoor play area that all dogs staying here get to go out and enjoy several times a day weather permitting.
Indoor/outdoor kennels allow the active dogs enough room to stretch out and move about without being cramped. There are 2 sizes a large and an extra large that can easily have more than 1 large dog housed in the same run with plenty of room. All indoor quiet kennel spaces are also available for the older dogs or ones that don't like all the noise.
We do have limited evening and weekend pickup/drop off times.
An outdoor play area lets dogs get out and stretch out where they can interact with other dogs or just get out and run.
I have been grooming dogs for over 30 years. December 2019 we opened for grooming and boarding. I have been around dogs my entire life, in the past I have worked as a vet tech, as a kid my parents had a kennel and also worked at Country Kennels in Audubon out of high school.
I spend alot of time around the dogs that stay here, with the grooming business I am steps away most of the day and we live right here so we're never far away. Our grandkids are frequently seen around here interacting with the dogs.
We do our best to make sure dogs are not scared to be here, we know that dogs are family.
Pets must share a kennel and be dropped off and picked up at the same time
All dogs staying here do get to go out and run in the outdoor run several times a day weather permitting. There is no additional charge for this, all dogs need the chance to get out and run off some energy or just enjoy the time outside to roam.
One on one cuddle/play session at least 20 minutes per day spent just with your pet $10. You can add as many times to their stay as you would like.
Can add any grooming service during their stay
Completed form that can be printed from this website
Copy of shot records all dogs must have current rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordatella (kennel cough) and a current flea treatment
Food- their own food helps keep their stomach for being upset, if food is not brought we will supply food for an additional charge
They can bring a favorite blanket or bed these do sometimes get destroyed by the dogs so don't bring something that can't be replaced
Dogs dropped off 4 or after will not be charged for that day. Dogs picked up during the week 11 or after are charged an additional day. Please let us know when you will be picking up or dropping off to make sure someone will be here.
